L'Industrie Aéronautique et Spatiale Française affirme ses positions et son rayonnement international au 49ème salon international de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace.
At the 2011 Paris Air Show, Hall 4 will be exclusively dedicated to French Aerospace Suppliers. Alongside the 400 SMEs/SMIs showcasing their products and technology, there will also be representatives of three competitiveness clusters in the aerospace sector – Astech, Aerospace Valley and EMC2. It is the first time that the Paris Air Show has showcased a collection of companies in this way.
The French Aerospace Suppliers area has been organised by the French Chambers of Commerce, including those of Rhône-Alpes, Midi Pyrénées, Aquitaine, Paris, Versailles and Seine et Marne, with the support of other regional authorities, including Centreco, Arex Picardie and SEM Pays de la Loire. Accordingly, the participating companies come from across France's main regions.
As part of the drive to promote French SMEs in the aerospace sector, the French Chambers of Commerce & Industry have also launched a platform providing information about aerospace companies. The online portal is available in English and in French at www.espace-aeronautique.com. It includes profiles of more than 400 SMIs, as well as a comprehensive directory and useful links. Additionally, the web portal provides information on international events likely to interest specialists in the sector.
